This pigeon was captured on the pink painted road of Rua Nova do Carvalho in Cais do Sodre on a very hot day, last September. This particular road used to be the epicentre of the red light district up until 2011 when they uplifted the whole area. I love the dirty pink floor and the dirty white strip next to the cobbles, with the slightly blurry silhouette of the pigeon – due to it moving so quickly.
