The contest is open to all, professional and amateur, regardless of age, gender, or nationality.
Rules
Travel photography Competition is organized by CITY CODE PUBLICATIONS P.C and the participation of the photographers is free of charge. For reasons of brevity where CITY CODE PUBLICATIONS is also referred to as "Company".
Every participant in the competition should be aware of the terms of use, the company's privacy policy and the special regulations for participating in the competition. By participating in the competition you accept the regulations and special conditions, otherwise your participation will be void.
Participation in the photo contest is free of charge and the following conditions must be met.
Duration of the Competition
The duration of the contest is specific and entries will not be accepted after the deadline of the contest.
Age limits
Only adult photographers are allowed. 18+
Entrants under 18 years of age require the permission of a parent or guardian. By entering the contest, entrants under 18 years of age indicate that they have obtained the permission of a parent or guardian.

You already know that your email will be used by the company to inform you both about the development of the contest and about your information through mailchimp or direct email, or wordpress in our Newsletter or for our next contest and art news.
Copyright
Participants in the competition should be the sole holders of the copyrights of the images they submit to the competition. Otherwise, if the intellectual rights of third parties have been violated then the participant fails to accept and in addition to the legal consequences there will be a final exclusion from the contest and also the owner of the intellectual work.
Photographs showing persons require their consent to the photographer - creator to take part in the competition. Photos without approval from the person appearing will be excluded from the contest. In any case, the photographer is responsible for his participation in the contest.
By participating in the competition, you authorize the company to use your photographs in any way to promote the contest in the company's media (social networks, digital platform, google, printed communication, etc.) as well as to any third collaborating media with our company for advertising the contest. Any photo that will be reproduced will include the photographer's credit. Participants know that they offer for free of charge in the framework of the promotion of the competition and will not demand any claim against the company.
You already know that by posting your photos in the competition, some third parties may take your photos and use them for other purposes in any case they will have done so illegally. They are accountable to you and you can address them for your copyrights. We can not control the immorality of the internet.
Our basic principle is respect for the artist-creator and we have never done illegally any publication of material without the proper approval, but unfortunately we are a drop in the ocean.
If for any reason we fail to comply with our agreement to display the contest through your projects and we accidentally omit our credit, please contact us immediately to correct it
Works (Photographs or any other artistic form) that you submit to the contest should not infringe any third party's or third parties' intellectual property rights, trademarks or other third party marks and will not offend the personality of appearing persons.
Photo specifications
You can upload up to 3 images (Photographic series or not) for your participation in the contest. Maximum 1920px width and 1020px height at 72 dpi. Since you are the final list of winners then you will be asked to send the winning images in high resolution.
Announcement of Winning Photographers
All 4 winning photographers at the end of the contest and after the final judging will receive an email that they will need to respond immediately so they can send the photos in high resolution (You must keep all the exif of images) to make sure that you are the sole owner of the photo copyright and of course high resolution in order to be printed for the magazine.
Constraints on participations
We don't accept images with people that they did not give the permission (written) to the photographers to be included. Photos of "News" showing children or adults in need of ethics can not be accepted in this competition. We have total respect for our fellow citizens and we do not want to be part of a contest that has prizes, but we also want to prevent and protect individuals of vulnerable social groups who may be hurt by publishing or identifying them and potentially causing problems.
Strictly forbidden images that promote any form of violence to our fellow human beings or promote fascist symbols e.t.c Sorry but we love all nationalities here and we believe that earth is our country.
It is strictly forbidden to participate with Stock photos purchased from platforms in any case and its easy to discover via technology if an images doesn't belong to you, in that case we will inform the real owner of the copyrights.
Your participation goes through a first evaluation process
Each participation will go through a first evaluation to see if the rules of the competition are complied with. If you do not see your participation within 2 days posted on our online platform then it means that some of rules and conditions have been violated.
Don't Submit print screens of your photos. Its better remove your watermark or any signature.
Juries
CITY CODE editors will pick the best photos for the final list. Top10 best inspirational photos will be presented in our digital platform as an article.

1st Award: 3 pages presentation or interview
2nd Award: 2 pages presentation ot interview
3nd Award: 1 page presentation or interview
(Interview depends on photographers' background)
Readers' Award (Selected by Readers/Voters)
4th Public Award: 1 Page presentation of the image (Printed on demand and online issue of CITY CODE travel & Culture magazine-greek issue)
5th, 6th , 7th, 8th , 9th , 10th Readers' Award: Will be presented online ( www.citycodemag.com)

Readers of CITY CODE will choose the best photos by voting. You can enhance your participation by communicating it to your social networks. One vote per ip will be calculated.
At the interviews we will not accept portraits (selfies) of the photographer. There is not specific date of the publications.
Contest Cancellation
If entries do not exceed the expected number then without notice we have the right to cancel the contest. In any case, if we think that your images are so inspirational for our magazine then will contact you and present your Portfolios. Rules of the contest could change anytime and you are the sole responsible by reading them.
Cancel Winning Images after contact
If the email that will sent at the end of the contest will not be answered within reasonable period of time, automatically we will cancel the winner and we ll give the award to the next photographer of the list.
Sensitive data
When uploading photos for the CITY CODE PHOTO CONTEST we may receive sensitive data from you in the form of a person’s picture. You are solely responsible for the content you share with us. At anytime we may cancel your submission or not accept it in the contest. For example, pictures revealing racial or ethnic origin, political opinions, religious or philosophical beliefs or concerning health or concerning someone’s sex life or sexual orientation may qualify as special personal data.

The terms and rules of the competition may change and appear here so that you can have access to your information at any time. You are responsible for keeping up-to-date on upgrades to terms and conditions.
CITY CODE PUBLICATIONS does not bear any responsibility for incomplete, inaccurate and incorrect information coming from users of the website or any software or media related to the contest. The company assumes no liability for technical errors that may arise in relation to the competition. As well as for mistakes, omissions and damages, theft of photographs by third parties, or any unlawful interference that may arise. It does not take any responsibility for virus infections from downloading files or photos you may be doing in any case you are the only one responsible.
CITY CODE PUBLICATIONS is not responsible or liable for any damage or loss. It does not provide any warranty, express or implied, for any matter arising as well as no financial consideration.
By participating in the Travel photography contest means you have read the terms and rules of the contests, privacy policy and terms of use and you agree with them.
